12th Street Bakery is baker Elizabeth Cotter’s community-supported bakery in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
Originally from Alaska, Elizabeth found her way to the Louisiana bayou country by way of her husband, an artist-educator who spends summers in Alaska finding inspiration for his work.
Her approach to baking is fresh, local, and made with love. Inspired by the farmer–community relationship in community-supported agriculture (CSA), her bakery builds off this model to form a community-supported bakery (CSB).
12th Street CSB works on a monthly schedule and fixed menu. Customers sign up for one to two loaves of fresh-baked bread every week. She also does special orders of seasonal specialties like King Cake or favorites like cinnamon rolls, chocolate sweet rolls, scones and more.
You can find her at many local markets as well as inquire on a SPECIALTY ORDER here or SIGN UP for a weekly bread drop.
